Programr

Build physical resilience.

Training programs built around your goal, at the gym or at home. Every week your coach progresses them from what you actually lifted.

Why Programr

Nothing can replace resistance training.

I'm James Shaw, co-founder of the James Smith Academy. I believe resistance training is a necessary part of life. It makes you stronger, faster and harder to injure, whether you're chasing a PR, playing a sport or just want to stay strong as you get older.

I built Programr for my own training first. A proper program, built around my goal, that progresses every week from what I actually lifted. It works, so now it's open to everyone.

It's for anyone who wants to keep progressing, at the gym or at home. A competition, a new season, a race, or simply getting stronger every block.

It's not a fat-loss app. Fat loss comes from eating less, mainly through diet. Programr is about getting stronger.

“It is a disgrace to grow old through sheer carelessness before seeing what manner of man you may become by developing your bodily strength and beauty to their highest limit.” Socrates, from Xenophon's Memorabilia

If you want to support Programr and keep it going, subscribe. You get the better version of the app, too. — James
